Our dental surgery is clean, spacious, modern, bright and has a wide panoramic view of Southgate N14. Our large bright surgery helps our patient's to relax better.

We offer treatment in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Our Dental Surgery and Receptions areas are fully air-conditioned, providing a very comfortable ambience.

Our initial check up appointment involves carrying out a comprehensive extra oral and an intra oral examination. Inside the mouth we examine both the teeth and the soft tissues looking for any abnormalities, including mouth cancer.

We also check your teeth for any abnormal wear and check the state of your gums including the support structure of your teeth (periodontal health).

In relation to the teeth, we provide you with oral hygiene advice along with appropriate dietary recommendations.

We have a diagnostic intra-oral camera and computer. This allows our patients to follow their dental treatment more clearly on a television screen. We feel patient's are much more relaxed when they understand the nature of their dental problem and understand the dental treatment proposed. Treatment at our practice is never hurried. We carry out all treatment to a very high standard.

We use modern equipment and our Dentist routinely uses Special Magnification lenses with enhanced Fibre Optic Illumination in order to see the patient's mouth more clearly. This undoubtedly helps to deliver superior quality dentistry.

Sterilisation procedures are strict using an autoclave and we follow British Dental Association and CQC, recommended guidelines with regard to sterilisation of instruments, cross infection control and use of disposable items such as suction tips, patient bibs, instrument trays, plastic cups, etc. Our dental practice is Care Quality Comission compliant.

We operate a recall system by text or email to remind you when your next visit is due.

We use best quality dental materials which helps us to deliver superior quality dental work.

We also use a very good dental Laboratory which consistently produces very good quality work.

After dental examination, the nature of the dental treatment proposed, along with the various available options, is always explained to our patients in simple terms and all queries answered happily. Dental treatment at this practice is never hurried and nervous patients are treated sympathetically.

Our dental fees are reasonable and affordable. A full written treatment plan with a breakdown of costings is provided for most treatments.

New Digital Intra Oral and Extra Oral X-ray Systems

We also have a Durr VistaScan phosphor plate digital X-ray system. We have recently invested in a Sirona Orthophos direct digital panoramic X-ray unit. This gives us a very clear scan image of the whole mouth.

LED TV Screen

We have a flat TV panel mounted on the ceiling over the patient's chair, for patient's to view a relaxing DVD or TV programme whilst they have their dental treatment. For you as a patient, this will help you relax and take your mind off the dental treatment being performed.

Air Polisher

We have recently introduced a new Kavo air polisher. This is a modern way for removing stains from teeth. The air polisher uses a homogenous mixture of Bicarbonate of soda powder (spearmint flavoured) and a high velocity water jet to clean and polish your teeth.
